[Click on the spider for video] Arthropods vibrating! I've become increasingly interested in why several animals vibrate, while flying, standing on a tree or the ground, or spiders in the web... this interested behavior is though to function as an anti-predators defensive strategy. However, very little is know about the mechanisms, function or evolutionary history of this trait. I look forward for feeding on this topic!
